As a business about to celebrate its 40th year, Glossop Cartons has great pride in the quality of the work we produce, and we’re confident that every single carton we print is the best that it can be.
From the initial conversations about our customers’ packaging requirements – from product characteristics and packaging design, the materials needed for the environment in which it will be sold, and even how it can be transported as economically as possible, the Glossop Cartons team has the experience to advise and guide our customers should they need it, making sure we keep to the brief – and budget – for every job.
Practise Makes Perfect
For customers that prefer to create prototypes to test with focus groups before a product goes to market, our production team work alongside them to provide CAD samples in production materials. This enables them to check the style, functionality, construction, and visual impact, and assess its attractiveness to customers early in the process.
Putting You in the Picture
Once a customer is satisfied with the construction and functionality of their carton, we either use their own artwork – we’ll send a digital cutter guide file for the design to be dropped onto, or should they need assistance, we have an in-house repro team that can create eye-catching designs for your target audience.
Once artwork has been submitted, we will reproduce it as a digital proof which the customer gets to approve before the production plates are made, and should they require it, we can provide wet proofs too (this option can be specified in your initial quotation).
With a history of investing in innovative printing machinery, Glossop Cartons is well equipped to handle all manner of carton packaging requirements.
Our world-leading print presses with UV capability are compatible and fully complement each other which improves productivity and reduces downtime, as well as delivering a tangible increase in lithographic printing quality, printing the sharpest dot, at speed. It enables us to apply a range of coatings, from ‘luxury matt’ to ‘high gloss’ onto a wide range of substrates utilising the benefits of both interdeck and UV dryers.
Our state-of-the-art Bobst folder gluer offers the flexibility of design styles and fast production speeds.
Our enthusiasm for new advancements in production has generated a lot of attention over the years and none more so than in 2013 when we became the first company in the world to commission the revolutionary Highcon Euclid™ digital cutting and creasing machine. This enables us to offer our customers even faster speeds to market, greater flexibility and cost-savings on shorter runs.
